The Village Schools Partnership can confirm it complies with safer recruitment processes and on-going employment
checks for staff as follows:
- Verification of identification checks
- Right to Work in the UK checks
- Relevant qualification and registrations checks
- Employment history and reference checks
- An Enhanced DBS check is carried out, including checks against the DBS Children’s Barred List and the Teaching Regulation Agency
All staff have a contractual obligation to inform The Executive Headteacher/School Business Manager if they receive a reprimand, final warning, caution or conviction by the Police or Courts whilst employed with the Village Schools Partnership.
